Release) Sept 24, 2009 - Since January, 2009,
black men in Metro Richmond have been coming together at an area barbershop
to tackle some tough issues. Black men from all walks of life and experiences
have shared their perspectives, ideals and suggestions on how they can
empower themselves and each other to be self-reliant, and productive men.
Their three pronged approach to support each other personally, professionally
and through civic engagement has given participants of these monthly gatherings
opportunities to connect on several levels. To find out more about B-Men,
